EVEN (A SWORD)
Even if a sharp sword rests upon a man's neck, he should not stop from prayer

Choreographer's comments: At a critical juncture of Jewish history, with Assyrian King Sennacherib's army closing in on Jerusalem, Hezekiah King of Judah suddenly fell mortally ill.
The prophet Isaiah came to him and told him to prepare for death.
With God's prophet telling him to make his will and prepare to die, a lesser man might have given up the fight. Not Hezekiah.
Instead, he prayed and focused his mind on the closed walls of his own heart. Hezekiah recovered, and gained a new sense and meaning to his life. |
