SUKATI HASUKAH

Sukati, hasukah,
nehederet, yerukah.
Li, li, li - rak, rak, rak
li rak mechakah.

Bah yoshvim, bah etrog
aravah, aravot
yachad yosh'vim
beyachad sharim
um'saprim gam sipurim

Sukati, hasukah..

Saba yesh li, yesh li sav,
vezakan lo tzach, (ve)rachav.
Hu oti ohev kol kach,
sukati yachas bis'chach.

Sukati, hasukah...

Min haboker ad haleil
hi omedet lah batzel.
Levushah hi ad hagag,
mekushetet leyom chag.

Sukati, hasukah...

MY SUKKAH IS THE SUKKAH

My sukkah is the sukkah....
Wonderful and green.
Only, only, only for me,
Only for me it waits.

For people to sit inside, with etrog,
Myrtle and willow.
Together shall we sit,
In unison to sing,
And stories we shall bring.

My sukkah is the sukkah....

A grandpa, a grandfather, have I,
His beard immaculate and wide.
He loves me so very much,
That our sukkah he will thatch.

My sukkah is the sukkah....

From morn 'til night
It stands shaded from light.
To the rafters dressed up,
For the festival, adorned and bright.

My sukkah is the sukkah....
