THE LAST SUMMER

MY LAST SUMMER

This is my last summer with you
with the first rain I shall disappear
my tears will flow down the street,
like a falling leaf and faraway hope.
I am a winter-man, between thausands of sea-men
But next winter I shall no longer exist.
The layers melt slowly,
between “we want – we don’t” and a last prayer.

So, remember that you promised not to cry,
’cause the skies are big and the tears are small.
Close your eyes at every first rain,
and think of me.

I want climb the montains, ‘cause thy are there,
and to visit overseas countries,
to know if there are other forms of life,
and to know whether the dead continue to live.
’cause this is my last summer with you
with the first rain I shall disappear
The layers melt slowly,
between “we want – we don’t” and a last prayer

So, remember that you promised not to cry,
’cause the skies are big and the tears are small.
Close your eyes at every first rain,
and think of me.

‘s? blu.
Chiudete quegli occhi al piovere e
pensate un poco a me.

Io voglio i monti innevati scalare

M’avete promesso…
