THE MAN FROM THE VALLEY

As if in a dream, I will always remember
the man walks as a passerby
biting into an apple,
through dust and wind
traveling on top of the truck to the valley.

The fairytales are beautiful
untill they suddenly fly away
only god knows where to.
I have built a tower
So alone I've been dreaming
my prince on a white horse.

The way is hot, and very long
And there he is, between the summer thorns
Running wildly to look for a flower for me
He returns
carrying reeds from the valley to me

The fairytales..

The birds have flown away
On Jordan's bank reeds were flooded
In open laughter, without saying why
He goes...
He walks far, the man from the valley.

The rainbow is hung from the clouds
But the radio still whispers
A word or two, silently
"Answer me"
"Roger and out", says the man from the valley

the fairytales...
