IL BOSCO DI EUCALIPTI |
Quando qui venne mamma, allora in gioventù, sul colle costruì papà la casa. Passati sono gli anni, cinquanta, o forse più, il mondo non è più la stessa cosa.
Ma qui, lungo il Giordano, come nulla fosse stato, ancora tutto tace, ancora nulla è cambiato: il bosco di eucalipti, la barca ondeggia là, sull'acqua che odora di salato.
Lungo il sentiero scendon bambini, in gruppo, che in riva al fiume vengono a giocare. I grandicelli ormai già nuotano da sé e in coppia vedo i giovani tornare.
Ma qui, lungo il Giordano...
Di là dal fiume ancora tuonò il cannone, ma finì l'estate e ritornò la pace. I bimbi, uomini ormai, han costruito già la casa sopra il colle e tutto tace.
